From Shoe Factory Apprentice to Overseas Vendor: My Journey of Strule

I Started studying in footwear factory while i was 15 years old,Since I came from a very poor family from Sichuan china.When I was in junior high school, my teacher reminded all students the day before Children’s Day that they were required to wear white athletic shoes to school on the following Monday. I did not tell my mother because I knew my family was too poor to afford me a new shoes.

I wore my old, worn-out daliy cloth shoes and dyed them white to school,  All my classmates made fun of me for wearing such shabby shoes. It really hurt my feelings and made me feel so self-conscious. As a child, I often wore hand-me-downs and shoes that were too small for me. The pair that got me laughed at was my last resort. It was so worn out that the soles were coming apart. .It’s not my fault my family can’t afford to buy me new shoes that time. But my classmates just don’t understand that. I felt shame walking around the school.

This really tough day inspired me to develop a passion for footwear design and production, I vowed to become a great shoe expert. designing and creating footwear that not only looks good but also fits well and is comfortable. I want to use my talents help people who, like me, struggle with finding affordable, fashionable, and comfortable shoes.

On 1997, I stumbled upon a television program that showcased a plethora of sports shoe factories in Jinjiang Fujian,At that moment,I resolved to abandon my high school studies and pursue my dream of working in the shoe industry. Filled with excitement and determination, I borrowed 500rmb from a relative and set out on my journey to Fujian. Upon arriving in Fujian, I was immediately captivated by the bustling enery and dedication of the workers in the factories. I was eaer to learn from the experts all I could about the manufacture and design of high-quality sport shoes. I started researching and reading about shoe design and production. I learned about different materials and construction techniques.

On 2002, I was creating unique designs that caught the attention of industry professionals from Turkey. He place 5000 pairs order to me, My dedication and hard work paid off, My boss promoted me to manager, I am extremely honored and grateful to have been promoted to the position of manager. This promotion is not only a recognition of my hard work and dedication, but also a testament to the support and encouraement of my colleaues and superiors. my passion for sport shoes only rew stronger with each passion day.

As time passed, it became clear that my passion for shoes would take me further. I knew I wanted to explore more of the industry, and so I started traveling across the country, visiting other shoe factories and learning from the best minds in the business.

But I didn’t stop there. I set my sights on the international market, and began traveling abroad to attend trade shows and events. While there, I made connections with various shoe manufacturers and distributors,

Over the years, I have honed my skills and expertise in various areas such as production management, quality control, product development, and supply chain management. In addition, I have also gained valuable experience in handling international clients, understanding their requirements, and providing customized solutions accordingly.

I take pride in my ability to work collaboratively as a team player, and also as an effective leader when the situation demands it. My experience in managing cross-functional teams has helped me achieve several successful projects and meet challenging deadlines consistently.

In 2016, I told my boss that I wanted to start my own business and shared my ideas. My boss supported me and even sponsored me with ¥50,000 to start my own venture. With the help of friends who also contributed ¥50,000, I combined these funds with my own savings of ¥100,000, and end my first company.

Our company mainly acts as an vendor for the R&D and production of sports shoes of foreign brands,and focuses on research and development and production. Although business was moderate at first, many customers who had heard of me from other satisfied customers started to come in. They found that we are reliable partner for quality, design, and delivery. They start a very long time cooperation with us with an annual output of 4 million pairs of shoes,The company currently has five automated production equipment for finished shoes, We pay more attention to product research and development and innovation while leading the trend with new technoloies. our export countries include South Korea,Japan,Italy,Germany,South Africa,India,Turkey etc,

One day, an Indian customer came to my company with a sports shoe design and asked me to match it with appropriate materials. I successfully provided him with satisfactory materials and soon after, he introduced me to other customers from India, Turkey, and Banladesh. He told me that many overseas sports shoe factories needed individuals like me to provide them with various materials that can meet the needs of their customers. This way,in 2020, I end another company that exports all kinds of sports shoe materials, supporting the production of shoe uppers, soles, and all other materials required in the manufacturin process. We have diversified our product range to include shoe uppers, soles, insoles, shoelaces, packaing, and other accessories to meet the different needs of our customers.

Through my journey, I learned the importance of perseverance, dedication, and the power of following one’s dreams. Perhaps most importantly, I discovered that anything is possible with passion and hard work.

I never would have thought that my life would take me on the path of becoming an overseas vendor. It all started when I was just a young apprentice, eaer to learn the ins and outs of the shoe-making industry.

My journey from a shoe factory apprentice to an overseas vendor wasn’t easy, but it was worth every second. Through hard work, determination, and a love for shoes, I was able to achieve my dream and make a name for myself in the industry.
